Mac's
waterbed isn't always so full of ripe, naked women, but when his wife is lounging
in the sunlight, Mac makes sure to whip out his paint brush. What is particularly
notable about "Waterbed" is its similarity to Lucian Freud's 1967
work, "Sister Lovepear". Maclaine credits Freudian brush strokes with
the masterful appreciation of light and shadow.
